Broadway’s wide village green is framed by historic buildings and honey-coloured, thatched houses. Many of the buildings date back to the 17th century, with landmarks such as Abbot’s Grange and the Prior’s Manse reaching even further into medieval times.

Spring in Broadway is ideal for exploring on foot. One favourite walk starts at Broadway Tower and winds down through rolling countryside to Snowshill. This picture-perfect village offers a welcoming pub, Snowshill Arms, for food or a drink at the end. Along the way, stop at Snowshill Manor, a fascinating National Trust house known for its gardens and collections. Booking ahead is recommended.
Summer
In summer, the lavender fields near Broadway come into bloom, colouring the Cotswolds in soft purples and blues. A short drive away, they offer a beautiful photo opportunity, with sweeping rows set against rolling countryside. Visitors can wander the fields, enjoy the scent of fresh lavender. Bring a picnic, or visit the Lavender Cabin, where you can buy hot and cold drinks, locally produced organic ice cream, scones and more.
Autumn
Autumn in Broadway is often described as romantic, peaceful and deeply authentic. As the crowds thin, the village feels lived-in rather than touristic, allowing its history and character to shine through. Along the High Street, independent boutiques and delis turn their focus to autumnal displays. Winter
During winter, Broadway takes on a festive charm.
